Haha, I got my first yes! Albeit not enough to be published apparently. Thinking of it as a rare and special thing. My other submission is ‘under consideration’. I will get my first trad pub acceptance or rejection e-mail soon. Either way, it will be an experience.Coding started last night hit a snag. I can’t use the TC font so had to switch to SC, or simplified Chinese. This was fixed and now am dumping points into the arrays.
Mom’s 2 undies should arrive tomorrow all the way from Singapore. Am being forced out of my own mindspace somehow. Need to counter with some blunting shrouds.
My story got rejected yet again. Well, it was worth a try. Am focusing my efforts on FastCN, my Python app. Need to get all the strokes in each character and their slope.
Am being prevented from writing my journal today. There is something going on. People in trouble. And a giant volcano has erupted in Ethiopia. Evil forces are on the retreat but how long before they strike again, gathering newborns etc?
Coding going slow but steady. Am sitting at my desk but feeling distracted and a little lazy. I’m trying to get a 10pt bitmap font into FastCN cuz it will reduce overhead a lot, plus simplify stroke detection. I already wrote the detection algorithm which would work well on a small b/w glyph. But it’s almost 2am and tho I drank coffee and managed to get cleaned well, and am comfortable, sleep comes soon. Will read up on font to xbm conversion in Python.
