Was up lateish. Managed to get cleaned okay. Showered and went for my weekly run. Feeling fitter. At noon, Mom asked me to get a loaf of bread and some food. Will leave in 20 minutes to the grocer.
Yesterday was pretty unproductive. I just did a load of bitmaps for the Python applet and laid down a few lines of code. Hope to pick up speed today. Had barley bread and Italian spread for brunch. Fueled me up to run but due to my stroke, I couldn't proceed to the grocer right away, need to rest.
Dad's cough is pretty bad and Mom's sore groin is gradually healing. Harry went ballistic over the poor pickings in these parts. Yea, these are poorer regions of Asia, mindspace-wise, where desperation led men to do evil in ignorance and gospel doesn't almost grow.
Mom didn't want a wine for her birthday and I can't find anything I like myself. I just go a new keyboard (old one was spoilt), splurged on a Razer mouse that was on discount, and got a tripod to mount my AKG Ara. All for less than $100.
Was thinking I could spend another $100 but don't really need anything plus the inflation and new taxes dissuade me somewhat.

Coming up to 5pm. Still haven’t done any coding or glued down the final arrow. Pilate and Herod are on my tail. Pastor and the Liew witches in an unholy alliance. Et tu, Pastor? Can’t believe it!
There was a heavy downpour earlier but not much wind. Am feeling oppressed and unable to do much. I did write an inspirational Medium article and prepped one on Substack for tomorrow.
Saw a sale on the iPhone 13 -1.3kRM. It’s within my budget as a present for Mom. And I can probably get 300RM for her old Oppo a93. Might as well bite but I need to go to the payment location as COD is not available.
I got a voucher for a further 100RM off this phone and since it’s from Machines @Mall, I decided to buy it. Worse come to worse I can sell it without loss since it’s 700RM cheaper than retail. Like the time I got circa 200RM off the Apple Pencil at Harvey Norman. I hope it’s legit. It drizzled slightly as I walked to the payment store with 1.2kRM in my pocket, just holding my bulky Oukitel with the barcode on its screen. We’ll see when it arrives later this week if it’s brand new or otherwise.
