Was up late. Eyes are sore. Orgasm poor. Was gassy and parched. Drank prune powder plus water to get the gut going. In yesterday’s writing of TBD, Imogen and Herod open a bridge (gateway) to the moon using technology they do not fully understand.
Life feels like a mess / downer right now. Liews attacking sporadically -they have not much support. Not sure what I feel like doing. Maybe do some walking after I get cleaned well.
Got cleaned and showered. Heading out in an hour or so, or before lunch. Don’t much feel like writing. Was thinking that war would break out in Immotaeus’ realm when the masses find out about the bridge. But what they discover on the moon is unexpected!
…
Got sidelined by the Liew witchy crisis. We made some ‘cutting’ decisions and now the Liew armies are disbanded. However the Liews themselves are still angry. No telling what they’ll do next. Hit the soft underbelly of western trust-built society again?
My publisher got back to me with a ‘hybrid’ contract offer that included this comment about my work:
We agree your work is well-written with a consistent and absorbing narrative, we believe that your work deserves a chance to reach the wider market.
Not too bad for a first query attempt. Now to read that contract and decide.

Took a detour to debug SeTT. Was a bit difficult at first but now it works much better. Still working on the forfeit move code, which is tricky. Didn’t write TBD which I may give away as an eBook to my readers later. I imagined signing books for them via post.
Almost midnight. Brushed and worked out. Feeling good. Li Lian acting up on my publisher again. She and my family don’t want me making any money of my own, gaining fame, etc.
SeTT is now bigger (size of squares and pieces) for ease of touchscreen play. Also comes with a border around the selected piece to avoid loss of points, and better position handling code. Sometimes it dumps out mid game but not often.
Had to get cleaned a third time today, washed up well and changed into fresh clothes for bed. Wearing my Mudman solar on Velcro that I touched up with a black permanent marker so it looks new. That walk around the lake with Mom was good exercise, come to think of it. Her new Decathlon shoes were comfy.
