Was up lateish. Managed to get cleaned well. Had a roti telur for breakfast. Can't wait for my new Martin ukulele strings. Feeling more well rested so tonight I'll be able to work out. This weekend, church meet. I'm not there to argue any point, just to have communion with my brothers and sisters. And out of the bickering / misled churches who left Rome, came here and there, true believers. This warrants further study. It is like no other religion on earth.

More ruminations on Christianity and being a Gentile. It is illogical to believe in God. Should Sarah and Abraham have expected a child in their waning years, were they not told by God? Why did Mary say "let it be as you say" to Gabriel regarding the immaculate conception? Faith is in short supply, was and is until the coming of the Lord with power and glory.
I've found that no matter what happens to a person, faith can be pruned off him like the disciples of John the Baptist fell away following his capture. "The shepherd struck, the sheep scattered".

They go the extra mile towards it when it is easy for them to do so. I earned an A1 in History by reading from many sources. I was among the top scorers that year in the whole of Malaysia. Faith is like that -showing initiative towards that which we have been shown to be good.
And it is thru faith that we are blessed. Just as I was called to teach online, and to fight the evil in mindspace which we hope to return to God's control very soon.

This is a common misconception -that Christians come built in with faith. It is not like learning to walk or speak. It is more like laying down your life in a war / battle. What then is being in Christ? It is simply Him reaching out to you when you realize you were living a lie. The peace that Jesus gives is your certainty and reward for having faith in Him.
