Coded a lot "yesterday". The full Bible search proved fast enough on a 10-year-old laptop. Need to add a 3rd filter term as often the output is hard to browse. Took my meds and will sleep at 2am. Liew witches still targeting Christians world-wide. I am their protection, apparently.
9am, Up lateish. Got cleaned and will feed the hamster in a few minutes. Coding going well.
11am, Getting started this Sunday. Did some code tidying and installed LibreOffice to write Sonic Hunter. 9k words is achievable over a couple of days. More than that is impossible to sculpt. SHT is proving rather addictive. I love using the Bible search. Its Tk ancestor, NiP wasn't as focused / accessible. Thinking I may redo chi as well.
Turned chi into a .shtl associative file, searchable in SHT. Good to be more general / standards-based.
12pm, Been working on chi.shtl for almost an hour and am halfway done. Got into the groove, using only basic punctuation and numbers. Don't think I can write SH tonight as there seem to be major bugs.
3pm, Finally done encoding the Chinese into 0-9()+-' This is ideal for representing the ideograms as it is easy to remember. A regex bug is crashing on display of some lines.
7pm, Back from dinner at Kayu. Had tandoori chicken and naan and a Coke. The Bible search is finally working without a hitch but the results are still overflowing. The Chinese speller is very buggy, don't know why yet.
11pm, Took my meds. Showered. Should get funds in tomorrow. Another 450RM. Good progress on SHT, solved the chi.shtl bug but now have a line numbering regex kludge to rewrite. Tomorrow will tune the Bible search. Ate nice coconut chocolate Sarawak layer cake from my cousin. Needed the coconut badly.
